“陆家嘴金融沙龙”启动，助力上海国际金融中心建设 2025-03-02
On March 1st, the "Lujiazui Finance Salon" was officially launched at the Shanghai Tower, aiming to gather financial strength to empower high-quality development in Shanghai and fully support the construction of Shanghai's International Financial Center. Over 120 representatives from government agencies, financial institutions, and industry associations attended the event.
Pudong New Area, as the core for the construction of Shanghai's International Financial Center, hosts more than 3,800 financial institutions. The "Lujiazui Finance Salon" will complement the "Lujiazui Forum" by continuously delivering "Pudong Wisdom" in financial reform through institutionalized, scenario-based, and international operations, deeply empowering high-quality economic development in Pudong.
The series plans to hold 40 thematic seminars within the year, adopting a mechanism of "one theme per week, one round per month." It will focus on four key sectors: banking and insurance, securities and futures, venture capital, and listed companies. By integrating resources from regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and technology companies, the salon will build a high-specification dialogue platform to promote industry-finance integration and cooperation.
At the launching ceremony, Guan Tao, chief economist of BOCI Securities, said he believes that the series of "Lujiazui Finance Salon" events can provide a communication platform for the domestic and international financial communities, which will fully demonstrate Pudong's leading role, radiating influence, and global resource allocation capabilities as the core area of Shanghai's international financial center.
Tu Hong, president of the Bank of Communications Shanghai branch, said that the “Lujiazui Finance Salon” will become a "Window" for gathering wisdom from all sides and supporting national financial reform, pushing Shanghai's International Financial Center towards the global top tier.
Lu Hao, deputy general manager of Shanghai Stock Exchange, believes that the official launch of the “Lujiazui Financial Salon” marks the addition of another high-end platform for cooperation and exchange in Shanghai's international financial center and in China's financial industry.
The Secretariat of the "Lujiazui Finance Salon" also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Yicai Media and Cailianshe at the ceremony. According to the agreement, the two media companies will provide full support for the salon, building a multi-media communication matrix of "live video + bullet news + in-depth reporting + think-tank columns."
In the future, the Lujiazui Finance Salon will be based in Lujiazui Financial City, link global resources, and become an important engine for promoting financial industry innovation and deepening international cooperation, contributing wisdom and strength to China's high-quality financial development.
