The 4th Shanghai Pet Fashion Week will be held at the Shanghai International Fashion Center from March 28 to 30.
The 4th Shanghai Pet Fashion Week, sponsored by JD Pet, will be held at the Shanghai International Fashion Center from March 28 to 30. Nearly 2,000 pet-owning families participated in the preliminary selection last weekend, vying for the opportunity to walk the runway at the main show of the pet fashion week.
Under the theme "Together We Shine", the fashion week will host 15 fashion shows, 13 pet pop-up activities, and five pet sports competitions, expecting to draw around 200,000 pet enthusiasts and industry insiders.
Spanning over 10,000 square meters, various pet related activities such as a fashion lifestyle exhibition, forums, and coffee festivals will also be held during the fashion week.

This year's event will bring pet fashion brands from 18 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Sweden, South Korea and Mexico.
Some of the brands are set to revolutionize traditional pet clothing. For example, US brand Rifruf, with its "Futuristic Functional Aesthetics", will showcase its 2025 Autumn/Winter collection, which uses smart bio-sensing technology to monitor pets' vital signs and generate health reports via an app. South Korean brand Tailhigh offers dual outfits — "Physical Clothing + Digital Skin" — allowing owners to dress up virtual pets by scanning QR codes. Inspired by the national dog Xoloitzcuintli, Mexican brand Xolo has launched a folk totem series.

The event also attracts new comers like Highoof, a brand under Shanghai Soap Co Ltd.
Founded in 1923, the company is renowned for its Flauhra and Shanghai Yaozao brands. With the rise of the pet economy, Highoof, launched in 2024, is applying the company's bacteriostatic expertise to pet care.
"As a century-old State-owned enterprise, we understand that innovation sustains classics. We merge traditional craftsmanship with modern pet needs, introducing pet care products such as our anti-mite soap and plant-based shampoo, providing care to pet-owning families," said Hou Songtao, general manager of Shanghai Soap Factory Co., Ltd.

Yangpu district, the host of the Shanghai Pet Fashion Week for four consecutive sessions, has built a government-business collaboration platform, engaging major internet companies like JD, Douyin, Xiaohongshu and Poizon.
JD Pet will co-host a launch with Petstar on the opening day. This tech-and-trend-blended show will feature pet models and owners showcasing the outdoor collection, allowing audiences to make purchases simultaneously.
"In the process of raising pets, we not only need to explore some professional pet-raising guidelines, but more importantly, it is a wonderful exploration of the lifestyle shared between humans and pets," said Yu Xiaochun, Petstar's brand manager.
In collaboration with China's professional fashion information platform pop-fashion, the fashion week will unveil the 2025 Pet Fashion Trend Report on March 28. The report will predict the industry's development trends, providing data support and services for China's pet fashion industry.
"The pet industry significantly intersects with maternal and elderly care industries. This release aims to delve into the 'It' economy from industrial and commercial perspectives and seize this opportunity," said Lu Pingyi, founder of pop-fashion.
