Shanghai Disney Resort will host flower-filled events, swashbuckling Halloween nights and stunning seasonal experiences for all ages this autumn.
Duffy Month, a celebration of friendship wrapped in blossoms, begins in September. Duffy and Friends will wear floral-inspired clothing on Mickey Avenue, from Duffy's camellia accents to LinaBell's osmanthus jacket.
Take imaginative photos, enjoy osmanthus-flavored pastries, and watch the play "Enjoying the Moon with Duffy and Friends." There will be live Shanghai Opera performances every Sunday.
LinaBell's fourth anniversary, which runs from September 23 to 29, is the highlight of the festivities, with parties, snacks and exclusive goods available throughout the week.
As autumn nights lengthen, the park will transform for Halloween from October 4 to November 1.
Treasure Cove will become a pirate hotspot, with the all-new Buccaneer Bash inviting guests to join Captain Nova's crew for an evening of mayhem, music and carnival games. Barbossa's Bounty Restaurant will serve meals on "pirate ships," making dining an experience.
Across the park, Disney Villains, including the Shanghai debut of Mother Gothel from Tangled, will amuse and terrify visitors, as Mickey, Duffy and even Winnie the Pooh dress up in eerie outfits.
Guests can howl along to Zootopia's "Howl-o-ween," peruse scary treats at Disneytown's Halloween Market, and enjoy the newly expanded eight-night Halloween Spook-tacular Days.
To give guests more flexibility, the resort will introduce additional ticket tiers in mid-October, offering more price options while keeping the lowest price at 475 yuan (US$66.3) and the highest at 799 yuan unchanged. Discounts are available for children, seniors and guests with disabilities, while infants under three years old continue to enjoy free entry.
With captivating festivals, festive treats, new experiences, and a more flexible ticketing system, Shanghai Disney Resort is set to make this golden autumn truly magical.
