世界赛艇锦标赛选手将参加上海河帆船赛 2025-09-02
The 2025 World Rowing Championships is set to take place at the Shanghai Aquatic Sports Center in Qingpu District from September 21 to 28.
Following the world championships, some international teams and rowers will travel directly to the Suzhou Creek course to participate in a local event, the 2025 Head of Shanghai River Regatta.

Shanghai River Regatta is the city's own competition brand.
The regatta this year will take place on October 2 and 3, featuring two events: a 4.2-kilometer chase and a 500-meter city sprint.
Teams from five leading rowing nations – Australia, Canada, Poland, the US, and Belarus – will participate in the eight-rower team competition. Additionally, three male and three female competitors from the World Championships will vie for individual honors.

A rowing simulator challenge activity was organized in Qingpu over the weekend.
The World Rowing Championships is the city's most high-profile international sporting event of the year, attracting over 1,200 athletes from 60 countries.
Marking the 20-day countdown to the championships, the organizers announced that 11 official hotels in Qingpu will house international teams, officials, and journalists.
As the world's only championships for athletes with and without disabilities, the organizers have placed a high priority on the accessibility of hotel amenities and related services.
