2025全球数据生态大会将于11月25日在上海开幕 2025-11-18
The Global Data Ecosystem Conference 2025 will kick off in Shanghai at the Shanghai International Convention Center on Nov. 25 and will run for two days.
The Global Data Ecosystem Conference will focus on the market-oriented allocation of data elements and the innovative application of digital technologies and will build a global platform for collaborative innovation in the data ecosystem, officials from the Shanghai Data Bureau, the Pudong New Area Data Bureau, and Shanghai Data Group said at the press briefing on Wednesday.
As an industry event that has been successfully held for four consecutive years, the conference will set up four major sections this year: conference, business, exhibition, and application. It will have a main forum, eight thematic forums, six closed-door meetings, and 17 special sub-forums focusing on core topics, such as the construction of a national integrated data market.
During the conference, 21 organizations, including the National Data Administration, the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, will jointly host the award ceremony for the 2025 ‘Data Element x’ contest, promote in-depth communications between the winners and capital, policies, and industries to accelerate the implementation of innovative achievements and foster new quality productive forces.
The conference will also release over 70 authoritative pieces of information, including research reports, industry standards, and technological achievements, focusing on the market-oriented allocation reform of data elements. It will gather over 40 heavyweight guests, including international tech elites and top scholars, to jointly explore the global strategy and governance path for data elements.
Moreover, the conference will unveil the achievements of Shanghai in the digital field, showcase over 100 registered data enterprises in the city, and display its innovative vitality and leading role in the digital economy era.
The conference is based on core technologies, such as blockchain, privacy computing, artificial intelligence, and trusted data circulation, and will have over 200 data business enterprises showcasing the most cutting-edge application achievements and practical cases.
Its scope has evolved from ‘rooted in Shanghai, radiating to the Yangtze River Delta region, serving the whole country’ to ‘connecting the world, building rules, and winning the future together.’ In fact, it has joined hands with countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, international associations, and multinational corporations to jointly draw a blueprint for the global data element cooperation.
The conference has established a ‘Guest of Honor’ mechanism for the first time this year, inviting Chongqing Digital Resources Group as the honorary guest to jointly promote the in-depth integration and innovative application of data elements across regions and fields, as well as enhance the synergy among the members of the China National Data Group Alliance.
