上海实验室成为中国第二家世界反兴奋剂机构授权的反兴奋剂实验室 2025-12-03
The Shanghai Anti-Doping Laboratory (SAL) has been granted World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) accreditation, WADA announced here following its Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday.
This makes the Shanghai lab become the second Chinese anti-doping lab authorized by WADA following the Beijing lab which was founded in 1987. China is now the fourth country that owns two WADA-accreditated anti-doping labs besides Germany, the United States and Spain.
With construction starting in 2018, the Shanghai lab was named the Candidate Laboratory in 2021 and was approved in September 2024 to conduct blood analyses exclusively in support of the Athlete Biological Passport (ABP).
WADA's Executive Committee met prior to the opening ceremony of the sixth World Conference on Doping in Sport which runs to Dec. 5.
