静安以灯光秀、上海风情博览会纪念2026马年 2026-02-09

Zhangyuan, a historic site in Shanghai's Jing'an district, hosts a haipai (Shanghai-style) Spring Festival garden fair last Sunday.
As the 2026 Year of the Horse approaches, Shanghai's Jing'an district has launched a series of Spring Festival activities to promote the integration of culture, tourism and commerce.
Zhangyuan, a historic site in the district, kicked off a haipai (Shanghai-style) Spring Festival garden fair last Sunday, transforming the century-old shikumen complex into a vibrant cultural venue.

The opening event of the fair featured a dragon and lion parade led by a national intangible cultural heritage inheritor, a classical music performance by the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, and a showcase of traditional skills by artists from the Shanghai Calligraphers Association. Additionally, original works by over 10 international emerging designers, including Chen Sifan, Cory Cheng, Kinder Eng and Susan Fang, were displayed in Building 12 of Zhangyuan, blending shikumen architecture with contemporary oriental fashion.
The activities seamlessly integrated interactive experiences with enhanced consumer offerings. From Feb 14 to March 8, Zhangyuan will host the V MUSE collection and high jewelry pop-up exhibition. V MUSE, a museum-grade jewelry brand, leverages Zhangyuan's unique bonded warehouse to create an immersive art consumption space and debut new high jewelry creations.

From Feb 15 to 23, a LEGO steed parade will grace the streets in collaboration between LEGO and Zhangyuan, alongside themed installations such as dragon and lion dances, steed paintings, and the God of Wealth.
In addition, the Spring Festival special session of the 4th Shining Shanghai Light Up Jing'an exhibition will also take place. Integrating works by Xu Beihong (1895-1953), a pioneer of modern Chinese painting, with Spring Festival elements and cutting-edge light and shadow technology, the event will feature five unique exhibits, illuminating core areas like North Maoming Road Pedestrian Street and Zhangyuan from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm daily. To enhance the festive atmosphere, various light and shadow installations and New Year greeting videos will be displayed across Jing'an district.
