上海启用交通违法视频举报平台   2016-05-05

 

RESIDENTS can now report traffic offenses captured with digital video recorders installed in their cars via a new platform on the Shanghai Traffic Police website.

Whistleblowers can upload the video files, which must be under 60 seconds in length and 100M in size, within three days of the offense being committed. The videos must contain indicators of where the offense occurred, such as road signs or landmarks.

As of 3pm yesterday, 17 videos had been uploaded to the new platform, police said.
