FIFTY wheelchair-accessible Nissan NV200 taxis hit the streets of Shanghai yesterday, joining the 50 Geely TX4 "London cabs" that Qiangsheng introduced in October 2014.

It is the only taxi company in Shanghai that has wheelchair-accessible taxis.

The gold-colored Nissan taxis feature a more slip-resistant ramp with a slope of 10.5 degrees, making them more wheelchair-accessible than the Geely.
