博洛尼亚插画展上海站开幕   2016-08-18

 

ARTWORKS from the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition are now on view at Duoyunxuan Art Center through October 7. The exhibition features hundreds of works from 70 artists from all over the world.

The touring exhibition was in Beijing earlier this summer. Other stops are slated for Shenzhen, Chengdu, Xi'an and Jinan.

The Bologna Illustration Awards, organized by Bologna Children's Book Fair, have been given to outstanding illustrators since 1966. Every year, the award committee receives about 1,000 paintings that represent the international standard and direction in the illustration area. It has been widely described as the most respected award of its kind in the world.
