下周六上海旅游节开幕，25辆游行花车亮相   2016-08-31

 

A record 25 floats will tour the city after making their debut in a parade on Huaihai Road, which will kick off the Shanghai Tourism Festival, on September 10, officials said yesterday.

The Shanghai Disney Resort's float will lead the parade, ahead of those from the cities of Suzhou, Nanjing and Taipei, according to the Shanghai Tourism Administration, which unveiled the float designs yesterday. These will be followed by floats from the provinces of Shanxi and Henan, and Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang Uygur autonomous regions.

The Disney float will celebrate the resort's recent grand opening and promote its attractions and entertainment. The centerpiece of the float is a glittering golden replica of the resort's Enchanted Storybook Castle — the largest castle in any Disney park or resort around the world.
