"弘一斋"书画精品展开幕   2016-12-16

 

A bamboo painting by Zheng Xie (1693-1765) entrances visitors yesterday at an ancient Chinese painting and calligraphy exhibition held at the Shanghai Museum. Zheng is a celebrated painter of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The exhibition, which will run till February 26, displays more than 40 precious historic paintings and calligraphy works donated by local businessman and art collector Sun Yufeng (1901-1967) and his family. The Sun family has donated 160 historic art collections to the museum since the 1960s. — Wang Rongjiang
