国内首座机场艺术馆亮相浦东机场 2016-12-30
SHANGHAI Airport Authority yesterday opened an art gallery near the boarding gates at T1 terminal at Pudong International Airport to exhibit paintings and sculptures from local artists.
The Shanghai Administration of Culture, Radio, Film and TV signed an agreement with the airport authority to change the exhibits twice a year.
The gallery is part of the administration’s plan to hold free cultural and art exhibitions at local airports, railway stations, malls and public squares to promote arts to the public, said Wu Xiaoming, the chief artistic officer with the administration.
