上海加快养老设施建设 完善养老服务体系   2017-01-11

 

SHANGHAI is upgrading its care for the elderly, including introducing nursing insurance and setting up more community based care centers combining day care, rehabilitation and nursing services.

The city is trialing an insurance system in Jinshan, Putuo and Xuhui districts that provides those with Shanghai permanent residency with more than 40 services, said Chen Yuebin, a director at the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau.

These centers will give priority to the disabled and those with dementia, aged 60 or more, or those whose families are travelling overseas.
