中科院上海高研院二氧化碳直接制液体燃料研究获突破   2017-06-13

 

LOCAL researchers have found a new approach to convert carbon dioxide directly into gasoline.

The finding — which will help to recycle the gas and produce cleaner energy — was developed by CAS Key Laboratory of Low-Carbon Conversion Science and Engineering, Shanghai Advanced Research Institute and was published in Nature Chemistry, a leading scientific journal, yesterday.

Carbon dioxide is a major greenhouse gas and China is one of the biggest greenhouse gas emitters. The research presents a promising application to recycle the gas.
