台风将至，天将转凉   2014-07-22

 

TYPHOON Matmo, which is approaching Taiwan, may bring an end to the current heatwave later this week if it makes landfall in Fujian Province and keeps moving north, forecasters said yesterday.

With the high topping 35 degrees Celsius, the local weather bureau issued a third-level yellow high temperature alert at 1pm yesterday.

The Shanghai Meteorological Bureau also said it’s going to be a scorcher today too, advising residents to keep out of the midday sun.
