炎热天气致沪上医院就诊人数上升   2014-07-24

 

WITH scorching summer temperatures, local hospitals are reporting an increase in the number of patients.

Zhongshan, Huashan, Renji, Ruijin and Xinhua hospitals all recorded a daily average of more than 10,000 patients. Xinhua and Huashan hospitals reported a high of 15,000 and 12,000 patients respectively on Monday.

Yu Fei, an official with Shanghai Tenth People’s Hospital, told Shanghai Daily that most of the patients came with stomach and intestine  complaints, which was 5 to 7 percent more than usual.
