上海卫计委原副主任因受贿受审 2014-08-29
A FORMER senior health official yesterday stood trial on corruption charges after failing to account for more than 15 million yuan (US$2.4 million) worth of cash and property.
Huang Fengping, 49, the former deputy director of the Shanghai Health and Family Planning Commission, was arrested on December 18 and formally charged on July 21. He was tried at the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People’s Court.
As well as his position at the health commission, Huang was a qualified doctor and served as president or vice president at several hospitals.
