ONLINE shoppers will from next year be entitled to a no-questions-asked refund even if they have opened and used the products, the Shanghai People’s Congress ruled yesterday.

The amendment to the city’s consumer rights protection law will be enacted on March 15, 2015, it said.

As long as the product has not been tarnished in any way and is returned within seven days, vendors must provide a full refund, the legislative body said.
