SHANGHAI Party Secretary Han Zheng met Martin Senn, chief executive officer of Zurich Insurance Group, in the city yesterday.

Han said Shanghai is deepening reforms and opening wider to foreign investors with new policies and practices tested in the expanded Shanghai Free Trade Zone.

He said Shanghai’s insurance market is growing and is full of potentials. By moving its China headquarters to Shanghai, Zurich Insurance Group will broaden its cooperation with Shanghai. He pledged full government support for domestic and foreign investors, including Zurich Insurance.
