Metro services extended 2015-09-28
TRAINS on Metro Lines 1 and 2 between Xujingdong and Guanglan Road stations will run for an extra 80 minutes on Wednesday to accommodate the increase in passenger numbers on the eve of the National Day Holiday, transport officials said yesterday.
Trains will run every 20 minutes during the additional period, it said, adding that 69 bus routes that pass close to the stations will also extend their services, with the last buses leaving at 1:25am. Full details are available.
Meanwhile, police said yesterday that vehicles will be banned from certain areas around the Bund from Wednesday until October 3 to allow people to see the illuminations along the Huangpu River.
Two plans for road closures are being considered, details of which are shown above.
