Traffic restrictions in place for National Day holiday 2015-09-29
SHANGHAI traffic authorities have announced road restrictions from September 30 to October 3 to deal with the expected jams and a jump in tourist numbers during the National Day holiday.
The restrictions will be in place from 3:30pm to 11:30pm, but police warned that both the time and areas of traffic restrictions could be changed depending on the situation.
Vehicles will be off limits near People's Square, the Bund and in some parts of Lujiazui as highlighted in red on the map (right).
