SHANGHAI'S all-night ferry service, Jinding Line, will discontinue its night operation from December 26, the ferry operator said.

The ferry links Jinqiao in the Pudong New Area to Dinghai Road on Fuxing Island with boats leaving almost every hour between 10:30pm to 4am. Due to lack of passengers, the operator decided to cancel its night services. From December 27, the first ferry will leave at 5am from Puxi side and 5:10am from Pudong. The last ferry will depart from Puxi side at 11:30pm and 11:15pm from Pudong.
