Airports see jump in holiday passengers 2016-02-15
IT was a busy Spring Festival for air-traffic controllers.
More than 741,000 travellers departed from or entered the country via Shanghai's airports over the holiday, up by 5.8 percent over last year.
About 80 percent of the 392,000 outbound travellers were Chinese citizens, and the most popular overseas destinations were South Korea and Southeast Asia, the General Station of Shanghai Immigration Inspection said.
