Shanghai Party chief meets South Korean deputy PM 2016-03-11
SHANGHAI Party Secretary Han Zheng met Yoo Il Ho, South Korean deputy prime minister and minister of strategy and finance, last month.
Han said China and South Korea have enjoyed good relationship and growing trade since the two countries established diplomatic ties 24 years ago. Shanghai and Busan became sister cities in 1993 and cooperated in many fields such as science and technology and culture.
He said he hoped Yoo's visit will give him a better understanding of China and Shanghai's economic and social development and will help promote Sino-Korean friendship and ties between Korean cities and Shanghai.
