A weekly reading event was launched at the Shanghai Book Mall on Fuzhou Road yesterday.

Each week the National New Book Releasing Hall will hold a release ceremony for a newly published book at the famous store, where readers will get the chance to mingle with their favorite authors.

The first release ceremony was for "Supply-side Reform — China's New Supply-side Economics by Jia Kang and Su Jingchun. The next one, "China Manufacturing 2025" by Xia Yanna and Zhao Sheng, will be held on Saturday.
