International canoe race being held in creek 2016-03-25
AN international canoe race is being held in Suzhou Creek next Saturday, officials said yesterday.
About 300 competitors from at least 10 countries and regions will take part in the race between Puji Road Bridge and Waibaidu Bridge, Yu Biao, deputy director of the race's organizing committee, told a press conference.
Traffic on Zhejiang Road N and Gansu Road will be restricted during the race and some sections of the riverside promenades will be temporarily closed.
