Shanghai extends PCR requirement to 72 hours 2022-05-30
Shanghai will loosen the requirements for nucleic acid test reports to ride public transportation or enter public places to within 72 hours from the current 48 hours from June 1.
People wanting to leave Shanghai are still required to provide a 48-hour PCR test negative report plus a 24-hour antigen test report, or a 24-hour PCR test report.
Those coming or returning to the city must have a 48-hour PCR test report, according to the city government.
