Renovated Italy Pavilion at World Expo 2010 Shanghai reopens 2022-09-28
Do you still remember the queue for the Italy Pavilion at the World Expo 2010 Shanghai? Given its popularity it’s no surprise that it is one of four remaining pavilions from the World Expo 2010 Shanghai, which has undergone an overhaul to transform the temporary pavilion into a permanent structure.
According to the Shanghai Expo Cultural Park, the original Italian Pavilion, which is open to the public from Sept. 24 to Oct. 23 (closed on Oct. 10 and Oct. 17), is currently hosting the Du Haijun Art Exhibition, which is the first highlight to be shown in the renovated Italy Pavilion.
The original Italian Pavilion chose to hold the Du Haijun Art Exhibition because the theme of Du Haijun's paintings fits well with the theme of the pavilion's "City and People" design. The exhibition focuses on the image of the "window".
After the famous designer Zheng Bangqian's careful design, the whole venue has added an elegant, novel and pleasant visual feeling.
