Marintec China 2023 to be held in Shanghai 2023-09-21
Marintec China 2023, the world's largest and most influential event of the year, will start on Dec 5 and last until Dec 8 this year in Shanghai, according to the event organizers.
The biennial event is expected to reach its largest scale in its history, and enterprises from 30 countries and regions have confirmed their participation, said Xing Wenhua, chairman of the Chinese organizing committee of Marintec China during a news conference held in Shanghai on Thursday.
As a special feature of this year's event, a cruise ship experience zone taking up an area of about 1,000 square meters will be specifically allocated for participants to take a close look at its deck, theater, restaurants and entertainment facilities, said Wang Yanguo, vice-president of CSSC Cruise Technology Development Co Ltd.
During the event, a forum themed "Innovation, Intelligence, Low-Carbon" will be hosted, with de-carbonization as a major topic Xing added.
