Shanghai Disney Resort adjusts ticket structure, unveils autumn lineup   2025-08-26

Shanghai Disney Resort has launched its autumn seasonal celebrations and experiences.

Shanghai Disney Resort has announced modifications to its ticket pricing structure that introduce additional intermediate price tiers while maintaining the current price range, alongside its autumn seasonal celebrations and experiences.

Starting mid-October, the resort will implement changes to its ticket pricing structure. While retaining the current price range of 475 yuan ($66.3) to 799 yuan, the resort will introduce additional intermediate price tiers to its current six-tiered pricing structure.

According to the resort, this new structure will provide more price options by narrowing the gap between current tiers, while further supporting the resort to effectively spread visitation throughout the year based on attendance forecast and maximize guest experience.

Existing discounts of about 25 percent for children, seniors, and guests with disabilities will remain unchanged, with the rolling 30-day pricing calendar continuing to be provided.

The resort's autumn festivities will kick off with Duffy Month in September, featuring the Duffy and Friends in new floral-themed costumes and special performances.

The resort's autumn festivities will kick off with Duffy Month in September, featuring the Duffy and Friends in new floral-themed costumes and special performances. Mickey and Minnie Mouse will also join the celebration, wearing Chinese-style costumes adorned with hibiscus.

A highlight of the celebration is the "Enjoy the Moon with Duffy and Friends" show performed daily. Starting Sept 7, the resort will collaborate with Shanghai Huju Opera Theatre to present special Shanghai dialect versions of the show on Sundays. This year will see two young performers singing the Duffy Month's theme song, incorporating classic Shanghai Opera melodies.

The resort is also marking LinaBell's fourth anniversary at Shanghai Disney from Sept 23-29 with weeklong celebrations. Special dining offerings during Duffy Month include osmanthus-flavored crepes, muffins, and ice cream, alongside themed afternoon tea services across various dining locations.

October brings the Halloween season, running from Oct 4 to Nov 1. Two new experiences will be rolled out: Buccaneer Bash, an immersive evening event featuring live performances and interactive elements, and a dining experience at Barbossa's Bounty with special pirate-themed meals served on "pirate ships".

The Halloween celebration will welcome Mother Gothel from Walt Disney Animation Studios' Tangled for her Shanghai Disney debut, joining other Disney Villains at daily encounters and during surprise appearances. Mickey and friends, Duffy and friends, and Winnie the Pooh and companions will don special Halloween costumes.

This year's Halloween Spook-tacular Days will span eight days, running every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from Oct 17 to Nov 1.

Seasonal ticket promotions include a Shanghai Tourism Festival exclusive afternoon ticket valid from Sept 13-19, allowing entry after 3 pm, and various Duffy Month packages combining park admission with themed merchandise and dining options.

The resort will also present special celebrations from Oct 1-3 in celebration of the National Day "golden week" holiday, featuring unique castle projections and fireworks following the regular nighttime show.

The seasonal merchandise collection includes Duffy and Friends plush toys and key chains featuring floral, butterfly, and persimmon elements, alongside themed headbands, crossbody bags, and accessories. Special mooncake and tea gift sets will also be available during this period.
