Holiday travel hampered by rain 2016-05-03
Crowds gather outside Shanghai Railway Station on the final day of the May Day holiday. The station said it handled 680,000 people yesterday and about 1.6 million since April 29. The heavy rains added to the congestion across Shanghai, with 263 flights delayed and 35 others canceled at the city’s two airports, while police reported heavy traffic on highways and other major routes.
