SHANGHAI Mayor Yang Xiong met Shanghai Cooperation Organization's secretary-general Rashid Alimov and other representatives from the member countries last week before the 15th anniversary of the organization. Yang said Shanghai feels so honored that the organization is founded in the city and named after the city. After 15 years of development, the organization keeps expanding and has played a bigger part in the international affairs. Shanghai has put cooperation with SCO's member states and their cities as top priority, the mayor noted.
