THAI Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha met with visiting Chinese official Han Zheng on Wednesday, saying that Thailand is willing to be part of the Belt and Road Initiative. During a meeting with Han, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and party secretary of Shanghai, Prayut said Thailand is perfectly willing to join in the Belt and Road Initiative, and to extend pragmatic cooperation between China and Thailand, adding that Thailand highly cherishes the Chinese-Thai traditional friendship, and has attached great importance to the enhancement of bilateral cooperation.
