Innovation contest 2016-08-02
FOUR young people from Taiwan and one from China's mainland who cooperated in the design of a bag that can be played as a guitar over the weekend won a cross-Strait innovation competition held by the city's Taiwan Affairs Office and Tongji University.
The first Cross-Strait Youth Maker Competition, which required participants to design and make a product within 48 hours, attracted more than 60 young innovators from Taiwan and the Chinese mainland, including two boys aged 13 and 14. The champions won a 10,000 yuan (US$1,500) prize.
