Panda cub is a picture of health 2016-08-10
THE first giant panda born in the city yesterday passed a medical examination with flying colors exactly one month after entering the world, according to Shanghai Wildlife Park.
The cub, who has come a long way since emerging from the womb as a fluffy pink ball, now weighs 1.497kg. She has grown black-and-white fur and now has the classic "panda eyes."
She does not, however, have a name, and the park is seeking the publics help in coming up with one. Its choice will be announced on September 9.
