Ying Yong appointed city vice mayor 2016-09-14
SHANGHAI Deputy Party Secretary Ying Yong was appointed vice mayor of the city after the approval from the city's legislative body this afternoon.
Ying, 59, a native of the city's neighboring Zhejiang Province, has been serving as the city's deputy Party secretary since July 2014. He is also the First Vice President of China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong.
He served as the president and secretary of Party committee of Shanghai Higher People's Court between January 2008 and April 2013.
