THE operating hours of Metro lines 1, 2, 8 and 9 will be extended by 80 minutes on Friday night, the eve of the National Day holiday.
The city's transport commission also announced yesterday that 61 bus routes would extend their operation hours to ferry passengers coming off night trains.
The extended service is in response to people wanting to hang out with friends or go shopping the night before the seven-day holiday.
