SHANGHAI'S first unisex public toilet building is to go into operation in Pudong New Area before November 19, World Toilet Day.

The city's public sanitation authorities announced yesterday that the newly built facility had 10 toilet stalls that can be used by both males and females.

It is located at the intersection of Zhangjiabang Road and Pudong Road S., where there are many runners, strollers and passers-by, officials said.
