New water reservoir in service to benefit 6.7m suburban residents 2016-12-30
THE Jinze Reservoirhas started supplying cleaner water today to some 6.7 million residents in Shanghai’s suburban districts and also to serve as a main backup water source for downtown residents.
About one-fourth of Shanghai residents in southwest suburbs can gradually get to use cleaner water supplied by the new reservoir within a month which started operation today.
