JINSHAJIANG Road Tunnel on the Middle Ring Road will be partially shut down for maintenance work during the day and entirely closed at night from 11pm tomorrow until February 3.

The 10-year-old tunnel will have its surface and structure fixed where problems were discovered during regular maintenances, according to Shanghai Road Administration Bureau. The timing of the work was arranged for the Spring Festival holiday when roads were quieter.

Meanwhile, drainage system construction on suburban Jiasong Road M. between its northern and southern ramp at the G2 expressway started on Monday and will last until February 26.
