RAIN began drenching the city yesterday, ending days of warm and sunny weather in what should have been the onset of spring this week.

The mercury will drop dramatically from today, to 8-10 degrees Celsius. Heavy rain is expected to stop tonight.

The weather will be overcast to cloudy from tomorrow to Friday and highs are not expected to pass 14 degrees as a cold front sweeps in, forecasters said.
