On patrol, Italian style 2017-05-03
Italian and Chinese officers seen on patrol at the Bund in Shanghai yesterday as part of an exchange program. Their beat covers the Bund, Lujiazui and Yuyuan Garden. The Italian officers have also been on patrol in Beijing. China is sending eight officers to work alongside their Italian counterparts in Rome, Milan, Florence and Naples. A similar program may be launched in conjunction with Austria and Spain later this year, according to China’s Ministry of Public Security. — Jiang Xiaowei
