National logistics lab aims to end the bottlenecks 2017-05-15
CHINA’S first national logistics laboratory was set up in Shanghai over the weekend. It will focus on unmanned courier delivery and other artificial intelligence services.
The National Engineering Laboratory for Logistic Information Technology, approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, was launched at the headquarters of local YTO Express in Qingpu District.
YTO and the other founding members of the lab, including China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, state-owned National Heavy Duty Truck Group and Shanghai Internet of Things Co, will focus on the bottleneck problems facing the logistic and courier industries, said Gao Hongfeng, director with China Express Association.
