HAN Zheng, a Politburo member of the CPC Central Committee and Shanghai secretary, received José Ramón Balaguer Cabrera, a member of the Central Committee Secretariat and head of the International Relations Department of the Communist Party of Cuba, on June 22.

Han said China and Cuba have long-term friendship and both are socialist countries under the leadership of their communist parties.

He said the Chinese Communist Party led by Xi Jinping is working hard to build China into a well-off society through continued reforms, rule of law, and self-improvement of the Party.
