New expressway links Hongqiao hub, Pudong airport 2017-12-25
The new Jiamin Elevated Road will open at 10am on Friday, completing the expressway link between the Hongqiao transportation hub and Pudong airport — with almost no traffic lights.
This means the Hongqiao hub — the airport, railway station and long-distance bus terminal — and Pudong International Airport will be directly connected by the Jiamin Elevated Road and the S32 Expressway.
With the completion of the section from Xinsong Road to S32, the 36 kilometer Jiamin Elevated Road will link the S6 Expressway and S32 as a fast track between Jiading and Minhang districts in west Shanghai.
