Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong met Paul Biya, president of Cameroon, and his delegation on March 24.

Ying welcomed his guests and said Cameroon is a friendly country and an important cooperation partner of China in Africa. The cooperation between the two countries have been successful and benefited the people of both countries. Ying told his guests that the city is working hard to build the financial, economic, trade, and shipping centers, as well as a technology and innovation center.

Also, Shanghai will strengthen the cooperation with Cameroon in trade, culture and tourism and promote China-Africa Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, Ying added.
