Shanghai Party chief and Singapore PM agree on further cooperation 2018-04-12
Shanghai Party Secretary Li Qiang met Lee Hsien Loong, prime minister of Singapore, and his delegation yesterday.
Li welcomed his guests and briefed them on Shanghai’s economic and social development. Li said the meeting between President Xi Jinping and Lee earlier at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference charted a roadmap for future Sino-Singapore bilateral relationship and it will help deepen the cooperation between the two countries.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the country’s opening-up reforms, and Shanghai will further deepen the reforms by exerting its central city’s aggregation effect, promoting the integration of the Yangtze River Delta regions and participating in the world’s cooperation.
