Over 8,000 university students and teachers from all over China are gathering in Shanghai for the fifth National University Art Exhibition. Jointly organized by China’s Ministry of Education and Shanghai city government, the six-day art exhibition, which ends on Saturday, serves as a final presentation of a nation-wide art campaign that was introduced by the education ministry in 2016. Students and teachers from over 400 universities in 31 cities and provinces, including those from Hong Kong and Macau, will give art performances or take part in exhibitions and education forums in Shanghai.
