The glamor, culture and history of more than 50 countries and regions across the globe are being showcased at the annual Shanghai World Travel Fair which opened yesterday.

The four-day carnival at the Shanghai Exhibition Center in Jing’an District gathers 750 exhibitors from around the world to bring diverse performances, handicraft displays, virtual reality experiences and delicacies.

New itineraries will be launched, lucky draws held and discounts offered. Visitors are invited to design their dream trips and vote for their favorite destinations to win gifts at the event that is expected to attract more than 65,000 visitors.
